The exterior of the hotel is gorgeous as are the grounds. The interior is also quite nice. Some things are tired, but others are really impressive (like the moulding in the dining room). Most of the staff was attentive and friendly.

Not only was The Lion a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds (and close to Stratford-upon-Avon) it was cute, quaint and so cozy. Mark (the owner) was incredibly nice and we loved our stay at his property. I can't say enough good things! He also helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Rooms are small, but well decorated and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious!

Lovely looking pub. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely setting in a small village. Close to Stratford upon Avon. Food was nice, but gutted it wasn't homemade food.
