Set in attractive gardens The Hawthornes is a truly impressive detached property built in the reign of Queen Victoria. Both inside and out it is an imposing building that offers modern all-round comfort for guests. Although The Hawthornes does not have Electric charge for vehicles, there is super charge / charging facilities 0.4 mile away at Jct 33 Ferry Bridge Services

Situated in the village of Knottingley, approximately 1 mile from the A1 / M62 Jct. Within walking distance of local amenities, including shops and a large well equipped gym and fitness studio. Eating out in the area; we suggest The Cobbler,Pontefract Road approx 1 mile , The Spread Darrington approx 2.8 mile to name a few. Pontefract Races are 3.4 mile away, we can provide a shuttle service to race goers staying with us. Pontefract holds a liquorice festival every year, Also music festivals at Pontefract Castle Xscape entertainment complex, with indoor ski slope, cinema, bars and restaurants are again a 5 minute journey from us, alongside Xscape is Jct 32 shopping complex We can also provide a shuttle service if you’re not wanting to drive. Nostell Priory & Temple Newsham are Just a few stately homes to visit in the area
