The Hay Barn is a modern rural retreat, built from new with high ceilings and very generous rooms. As always at Castle Chase accessibility has been designed in with a luxury wet room, large bedroom and lots of space for wheel chairs and other mobility aids. We are happy to accommodate up to three dogs and have electric car charging.
Hello, we are farmers. We have lovingly converted Castle Chase Cottages from disused stables and garages in to holiday cottages in the village of Ayston. We decided early on that accessibility was really important to us so have designed Castle Chase to be user friendly for as many people as possible, with level thresholds, wheelchair friendly kitchens and bathrooms, bedrooms and driveways. We are entirely step free! I am an EV driver so both properties have a 7.4kw charger for your exclusive use on a private driveway with an enclosed garden.
Set in old parkland on the edge of the unspoilt village of Ayston Castle Chase Cottages offer a quiet rural retreat to explore Rutland. A lot of our guests enjoy watching the wildlife and cattle drift past with a soothing rhythm, a place to relax revive and feed body and soul. Rutland has beautiful market towns, superb walking, gardens, heritage and sports, you are in walking distance of Uppingham which has everything from fine dining to take away, a Friday market, and lovely independent shops.
