Neighbourhood information
A short distance from Lincoln itself, Wragby is a tiny town encircled by the Lincolnshire countryside. Two 19th-century manor ruins, the All Saints church (19th-century, Grade II listed), and a tall tower mill (1831, built by millwright Ingledew) are all present. With three welcoming neighbourhood pubs, a fish market, a café, and a restaurant, Wragby has a lot to offer. Horncastle and the seaside town of Skegness are also accessible by regular bus service. Explore the several trails in the Bardney Limewoods National Nature Reserve, see the butterfly garden there, and the Chambers Farm Wood nearby. Discover the beauty of the east coast at the coastal resorts of Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea, or travel to the city of Lincoln to behold its magnificent cathedral or wander through the many interesting stores there. Excellent year-round location from which to explore Lincolnshire. Stephen Langton, an important figure in the signing of the Magna Carta, was born in Langton by Wragby.
