Welcome to The Hurst Coach House. A 1800 century property full of character sitting on the edge of Wheaton Aston village. The Coach House house offers a comfortable stay with home from home facilities, including a gravelled garden for your furry friends with their own enclosed garden, we also offer a Hottub to relax in, available all year round. The village has lovely country pubs, to include the Harley Arms that sits on the Shropshire union canal.
I will be contactable all through your stay for any assistance you may need, please do get in touch for special celebrations, as we do offer extra touches for birthdays and anniversary stays.
Wheaton Aston is a small agriculture village in Staffordshire, about 9 miles south west of Stafford and 7 miles west of Cannock. It is located beside Bridge 19 of the Shropshire Union Canal. It’s village offers two pubs and local shops. The Hartley Arms offers, lunch and dinner, there is live music, and themed evenings for food tasting, it sits next to the Canal, which offers lovely dog walks. A breakfast treat !! we would recommend the village called Codsall (10mins drive), this offers fantastic breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea. Medicinebakery and kitchen Codsall. Weston Park is a local stately home, with a wonderful restaurant and wonderful walks, fabulous train ride and park for the children and less that 2 miles away. Cannock Chase is a 25min drive, this has a Gruffelo walk, and sky ropes and the opportunity to walk for miles with great views. Telford shopping complex is 15min drive, with all your favourite shops ! Cafe India is a few minutes drive on the A5 offering lovely food. Friday night there is a Fish and chip van in the village that must not be missed, great fresh food. There is plenty of free parking, cars can be parked at the back of the property on the tarmac drive.
