We are a husband and wife team that got married here at Minstrel Court in 2022! We absolutely fell in love with the place, so when we found out that the previous owner was leaving and it was shutting down, we couldn’t bear to see it go. We decided to take a leap and buy the venue ourselves in the hope that we could provide others with the beautiful experience that we had. Na’im, who found his way to Cambridge University from Albania, and I, a Cambridge local, knew from the moment we laid eyes on Minstrel Court that it was the perfect spot for our big day, not only due to its proximity to the city our love story began but also its unparalleled charm and beauty.

The Manor is a luxurious haven designed to gather family and friends, creating unforgettable moments the night before or after your celebration. This recently renovated 5-bedroom house is both luxurious and comfortable, accommodating up to 19 guests. It combines modern luxury with timeless charm. Each of the five bedrooms is a private retreat, featuring ensuite bathrooms, large smart TVs, and ample wardrobe space. The expansive getting-ready areas ensure that every guest has the space and convenience they need. The pièce de résistance is the rooftop terrace, complete with a hot tub, offering a panoramic view of the surroundings – the perfect spot for unwinding under the stars or celebrating with loved ones. The heart of the Manor is the large living room, a cosy space adorned with sofas, a large TV and two original fireplaces, creating an ideal setting for family bonding or game nights by the fireplace. The spacious kitchen, connected to an adjoining conservatory with a large dining table, encourages communal feasting, allowing family and friends to share meals and create cherished memories together. Beyond being a haven for wedding guests, the Manor at Minstrel Court is a versatile retreat for various occasions. Whether it’s a hen do, stag do, or any celebratory gathering, this exquisite house is designed to be the backdrop for joyous occasions and treasured moments. It serves as the perfect escape for friends and family seeking a luxurious and intimate setting. Please note that the Manor is situated on a large wedding and events estate. When booking The Manor, guests have access only to the house itself and the BBQ area near the front parking. No other outdoor spaces are reserved exclusively for Manor guests. You are welcome to enjoy the lake, gardens, and the lawn directly behind The Manor (adjacent to the dining area); however, these are shared areas and may be in use for private events. Please respect that they are not for exclusive use.

Please note that some works are still ongoing outside the house, so our builders are still around at times. The air-conditioning shown in the photos is not functional yet. • Access to the Lake, Grounds or other wedding venue areas is not permitted, unless there happens not to be an event on the date you have booked. You will be informed the day before your booking if there is an event on. *Please also note that the accommodation is located on the grounds of a wedding and event venue. This means that from time to time, there may be an event running next door with music being played and fireworks until midnight.* The conservatory in The Manor is a licensed ceremony area, and is perfect for intimate weddings of 20-30 people. While only 19 guests can sleep in The Manor, additional accommodation is available on site. Getting Around: - Meldreth Station: A swift 7-minute drive for convenient transportation. - Cambridge (CBG): Just a half-hour drive to access the vibrant city.
