The use of garden/patio is only available in the morning and late afternoon. Fabulous cottage situated in the heart of Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons National Park.. Ground Floor: Living room: 32" Freeview TV, DVD Player Dining room. Kitchen: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine Separate Toilet. First Floor: Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack.. On road parking. No smoking.. A lovely 1830s cottage that used to be part of Talgarth Mill and in its day the dining area used to be the local butcher’s shop. It is situated in the heart of the town with shops, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance of the property. The Mill House is 9 miles from the town of Brecon, with its abundance of coffee shops and historic places to visit such as the Royal Welsh Museum and Brecon Cathedral. The property is also 8 miles from the literary town of Hay-on-Wye which holds the famous Hay Festival every year and has some lovely quaint book shops and patisseries. Cardiff and Swansea are roughly an hour’s drive from the property and offer fun-filled days out. This is a fabulous base for those wanting to explore the area whether it be on foot or by bicycle. For the more adventurous why not take a walk up Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. There are so many walks to be had from the front door, it is certainly the perfect spot for your holiday.
