The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite bathroom and a mezzanine double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite walk-in shower room. Outside there is a shared front courtyard and rear garden with patio, lawn and furniture, plus roadside parking is available. Within 2.4 miles you will find a shop and within 0.1 miles, a pub, and please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Enjoy a tranquil getaway to Herefordshire with a stay at The Old Bakehouse. The bustling medieval village of Pembridge lies on the Black & White Village Trail and boasts many striking 15th and 16th Century half-timbered buildings, and has held markets and fairs in the village since the early 1200s. The village has a beautiful 14th century market hall, 3 traditional village pubs, an excellent village store, a cafe and a church with a unique detached bell tower. Close by, the picturesque village of Weobley, once voted one of the top ten places to live in England, has many timber-framed buildings, and excellent facilities including a village shop, local pubs and the renowned Jules restaurant. Hay-on-Wye, the town of books, is within easy reach as are medieval Ludlow, the cathedral city of Hereford with its medieval bridge spanning the River Wye, Mappa Mundi world map and Chained Library. The magnificent Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park also make a great day out. Surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside including Offa's Dyke and the Golden Valley, this is an excellent location for walking and cycling trails as well as sampling wonderful local produce at a local cheese factory, vineyard and cider farms.
