The Old Club previously a Gentlemans Club is situated 150 yards from the main Promenade and sea in Penzance.
With its elegant Victorian facade and dominant standing on Alexandra Road The Old Club offers two large spacious open plan en suite rooms with very high ceilings and tonnes of period features.
This is a self check in property where you will be sent a code on booking for entry into the gate and front door. Then you can come and go as you please.
The Napoleon room named because if it’s french feel and grandeur fit for an Admiral with its two huge gold and crystal chandeliers has a stunning french Superking bed antique table and chairs, antique pine wardrobe, antique chesterfield sofa, french armchair, pine bow front chest of drawers, fridge with kettle mugs tea and coffee.
The open plan en suite has gold marble tiling and large two person basin with gold taps large walk in shower with antique effect rain fall fitting. Please note there is no ceiling or doors to this space.
Views out over the front garden and onto the promenade and sea.
The room is unserviced so housekeeping won’t be in every to make your bed.
On departure please leave your key in the front of the door.
Our second room is the Benbow room named after Admiral Benbow.
It boasts a chunky pine Superking bed with large antique pine wardrobe, table and chest, pine bow front chest of drawers, fridge with kettle and tea and coffee. Vintage globe lighting.
View to the front of the house over the garden and beyond to the promenade and sea.
The open plan ensuite has a Victorian feel to match the house with its black and white tiled flooring. Large two person basin with black taps. Large walk in shower with modern multi function shower unit.
Please note that this space has no ceiling or doors.

Situated 150 yards from the promenade a short walk can take you to the famous Jubilee Pool Cornwalls open air lido with thermal area.
Another short walk to Newlyn housing one if Cornwalls largest fishing fleet. Stop and buy some crab or Newlyn famous Jelbarts Ice Cream.
Five minutes walk away Is Penlee Park where they have open air theatre in the summer. Well worth a visit. Also Morrab gardens with its lovely bandstand. Five minutes further in and you are into the main town of Penzance. Make sure you take a walk down Chapel Street with its lovely antique shops and famous buildings and pubs.
The train and bus station are a 15 walk away where all sorts of adventures await.
Breakfast is available just across the road at The Beach Club or a short stroll across The Promenade is The Queens Hotel and The Lugger Inn that both do breakfast fir non residents.
