This converted 1930s telephone exchange commands far reaching views towards Badbury Rings hill fort. A single level building with easy access, it includes its own dedicated parking with enough space for two cars. The outside space also includes a private garden with patio table and chairs to the rear. The property has been recently renovated to a high standard for the 2023 season and decorated throughout in muted tones of greys and greens. The front half of the property comprises an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a breakfast bar and bar stools or a folding table and chairs for more formal dining. The lounge has a comfy sofa and armchair with smart TV and bluetooth speaker. To the rear of the property is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom including a large walk in shower. There is an additional separate WC and a washer dryer.
Hi! We are Pete and Sarah and live next door. We have rented out The Old Exchange since we first moved to Dorset 20 years ago we have hosted global and local travellers including amateur historians, geologists, orchid hunters, walkers, cyclists, National Trust fans and honeymooning couples. Dorset and the New Forest has provided us with many memorable day trips, and beautiful walks with our family. We are more than happy to make suggestions of places to go or things to do. We also enjoy good food and Dorset is blessed with many local producers and fabulous restaurants. We haven't finished yet and love finding out about new places to visit from our guests!
Located within the Vale of Allen area of outstanding natural beauty and close to the picturesque village of Witchampton with plenty of historic interest, local walks and cycling. A short drive from Wimborne Minster a thriving market town with an array of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. We are ideally placed to explore Dorset and the New Forest - coast and country. 30 mins from the 12 Blue Flag Award-winning beaches of Poole and Bournemouth
