The Old Mill Cottage – Cosy, Stylish & Dog-Friendly Welcome to The Old Mill - once a working flour mill, now a warm and welcoming cottage full of character and charm. Perfect for families, friends or couples, it sleeps up to 6 and is set in peaceful countryside, just a short drive from the Wirral coast. Inside, you’ll find two comfy ensuite bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The living space is relaxed and stylish, with exposed beams, sandstone floors, and a Chesterfield sofa that’s made for curling up after a day out. Underfloor heating runs throughout, so it’s always cosy - whatever the weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a Ninja air fryer (game changer!), and the dining space is perfect for lazy breakfasts or big family dinners. Outside, you’ve got your own private garden and a hot tub - perfect for a soak under the stars. You’ll also have access to our indoor heated pool, which is bookable in private time slots, plus an onsite fishing lake and a small play area for little ones. We’re a small, family-run business and we love welcoming dogs just as much as humans! Both the Old Mill Barn and The Shippon Barn are in the lovely old village of Saughall Massie with a village pub and neighbours. We must insist on no parties or outside noise or use of hot tubs after 11pm. Anyone causing disturbance to neighbours will be asked to leave immediately.
