    Spacious and comfortable. Airy! Great bed for sleeping! Great home base for exploring the area: we made it to so many National Trust sites! Parking close by and reasonably priced. Groceries close, both walking and driving.

This Victorian gem is nestled in the heart of the town centre - you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at a multitude of excellent eateries minutes from your front door including Bills, The Ivy, Wagamama's, The Warren, Soprano tapas, TN1 and Cote brasserie. The list of excellent places is endless - take a stroll down to the Pantiles to experience the legendary Jazz on the pantiles during the summer months. Over Christmas, you can ice skate on the open air rink in the park, or enjoy the annual pantomime at Assembly Hall Theatre. Slightly further out of town is Hever Castle, Scotney Castle, Bewl Water and Bedgebury. Take a 6 min walk and you can be on a direct train to central London in 45 mins. "I feel like I'm staying in a hotel!" a guest recently said - it really is a beautiful apartment nestled in the heart of Tunbridge Wells town centre. Alstanvy Getaways bought this beautiful building back to life for our guests enjoyment. With only two apartments in the building, the main front door leads to a lovely communal hallway with The Old Office front door ahead of you. Enjoy the wow factor of the incredible tall ceilings and original Victorian features of this 26' reception room, complete with restored ornate fireplaces. There is a stylish built-in kitchen/dining area to the rear of the room, with stunning French doors opening onto a lovely private courtyard garden. The garden has a paved area for al fresco dining in the summer, and a small but mature garden at the rear - not often found with a central Tunbridge Wells pad! There is a large comfortable bottle green velvet sofa bed in the lounge, with additional arm chair creating a cosy hub around the smart TV.. For our guests needing to work, we have hung a folding desk on the wall behind the door with a chair, ideal for those needing to crack on but out of sight for a relaxing evening. The grey high-spec fitted kitchen includes: integrated double oven with induction hob, integrated washer dryer and fridge freezer. There's a spacious dining table for four by the French doors to the garden. The luxurious king size bedroom has a window looking onto the garden. With tones of grey and pink, a super comfortable tempur mattress with hotel quality bed linen, this is a little slice of peaceful paradise in the middle of town. Leading from the bedroom, there's a spacious fitted bathroom with shower over bath and large fluffy towels. There is an extra WC in the hallway also.

Neighbourhood information

In the heart of Tunbridge Wells town centre, you couldn't be more centrally located. A minute's walk from the pedestrianised High Street with a plethora of shops including Fenwick's department store, Next and a large M&S. You are just 6 minutes walk away from Tunbridge Wells train station, and beyond that is the Old High Street with lots of independent shops and restaurants. The famous Pantiles is about 15 minutes walk away and makes for a really gorgeous afternoon or evening out.
