The Old Poor House is a 16th Century property set within an acre of land with gated entrance. The newly built Coach House sits on the site of the original stables. The property is situated on Sidlesham Quay and the RSPB nature reserve and area of unrivalled natural beauty and tranquility. You will have direct access to walks around the quay to Pagham and Selsey and cycle paths to Chichester and Selsey, the Witterings are also a cycle ride away along country lanes. The house is located on Sidlesham Quay so the water is only steps away. The nearest beach is Church Norton that is a 25 minute walk around Pagham Harbour or a 5 minute drive. The blue flag West Wittering beach is also a short drive away, but we usually cycle to it. The Coach House is newly built. The downstairs of the property features a new kitchen with a full range of utensiles - but if you need anything not there please ask. There is a living room and small table. Seating is also available around the breakfast bar. The bathroom is also downstairs with a shower and washing machine. Upstairs bedroom one has a king size bed as does bedroom two - although please note bedroom two is accessed through bedroom three which is a walk through bedroom containing 2 single beds - one of which is a day bed that has a third single bed that can be pulled out. Please note that when the third mattress is used it partially obstructs the door to the second bedroom. Bedroom 2 and 3 are perfect for a family with 2 or 3 children that don't mind walking through the kids room. Outside there is a table and chairs, a bar-b-q and a fire pit for guests to use. There is a car port for the guests use.
