The Old Post House is a unique B and B set in a classic house of historical significance in the centre of St Just one of only two Cornish towns located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In comfortable spacious rooms , you can experience a restful and rejuvenating holiday. With delicious breakfasts made from fresh and locally sourced ingredients and a relaxation room with yoga classes and Reiki treatments on offer you will have all you need to unwind. This superbly located B&B is just minutes walk from spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged Cornish Moorland. The Old Post House is a stylish and spacious B and B . It retains many original features such as old benches , beautiful coving and a stunning staircase. The rooms are comfortable and tranquil with a classic style. There is a modern en suite shower room . Facilities include free wi-fi, TV, hair dryer and tea and coffee facilities. Guests have use of a relaxation room with yoga mats for personal use or bookable classes. A nutritious breakfast is served in the slate tiled breakfast room with locally sourced products.
We aim to provide a relaxing and friendly experience @The Old Post House. We offer 1:1 yoga classes or reiki treatments at an additional cost. We enjoy walking and exploring the stunning scenery and enjoy gardening and visiting ancient historical sites. We enjoy sharing information we have discovered about this beautiful area.
St Just is a very special Cornish town full of great antiquity as evidenced by the Selus Stone in St Just church. It has a range of pubs that regularly host live music, thriving independent shops and cafes as well as several art gallleries including one by the renown artist Kurt Jackson. There are plenty of opportunities for exploring , with coastal and moorland footpaths, a natural sea-pool, a pre-historic stone circle, Neolithic settlements and excellent surf all within walking distance. The landscape is spectacular with moorlands littered with ancient Stone Age and Bronze Age sites. Additionally, there is a wealth of historical, tin mining sites where a lot of the filming for Poldark was captured. Close by are several outstanding valleys renown for rare species of wild life.
