There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a twin room, as well as a family bathroom. Downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a rear courtyard with furniture. The Old Smithy makes a wonderful base for the amenities of St Columb Major, the beaches around Newquay, the coastal path and much more.

The lively town of St Columb Major lies just seven miles from Newquay. The town has many amenities including pubs, shops and a post office. St Columb Major is situated among superb countryside. Newquay is a bustling, popular seaside town which has a number of pubs, bars, shops, aquarium and zoo. Newquay is also well known for surfing and fantastic beaches. Nine miles from St Columb Major is the pretty, fishing town of Padstow. Also nearby are some beautiful walks along the South West coastal path, which has some stunning scenery, and the walks take in rugged cliffs tops, lovely sand dunes and beaches. Within ten miles there is something for everyone, from stately homes and beautiful gardens to adventure playgrounds, theme parks and golf courses. Only eighteen miles away are the famous Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. St Columb Major and the area nearby have many attractions which are fantastic to visit any time of the year.
