A fantastic cottage in the medieval town of Ruthin, once part of the famous Ruthin Castle. The Old Stables is cosy, convenient, and steeped in history, with Ruthin Jail—frequented by the Most Haunted crew—just across the road. Perfect for families or groups, enjoy a private courtyard, fully equipped kitchen, and off-road parking. Explore Snowdonia or walk to local shops and pubs. Pet-friendly with modern comforts, this charming home sleeps 5 comfortably.

Neighbourhood information

The Old Stables is well located, with a park just a stones throw away and the infamous Ruthin Jail just around the corner. There is a Costa Coffee shop at the top of Ruthin Town. Snowdonia and all it’s famous attractions include, Mount Snowdon, Longest Zip Wire in Europe - Zipworld, Bounce Below, Surf Snowdonia - Europe’s first and only man made surf lagoon and many more sights to explore. The Coast of North Wales is one of the most stunning and areas of natural beauty in the UK. You will be able to park your car in the Cae Ddol Park car park with a permit which needs to be on view in your car. The permit will be in the property for you to use in the car park as well as all over the Denbighshire County Council car parks. NB. Parking permit can only be used in Long Stay Car Parks in Denbighshire. Snowdonia is an hour's drive and a fantastic little day out, if you're feeling ambitious, you could walk up Snowdon.
