The attractive market town of Marshfield lies at the southern edge of the Cotwolds, on the border between South Gloucester and Wiltshire, just eight miles from the ancient city of Bath. Boasting a fine architectural heritage, the elongated high street is rich in a wealth of listed 17th and 18th century Cotswold stone cottages in its designated conservation area, as well as two local pubs serving good food and real ale, a thriving village store and access to the nearby Cotswold Way offering lovely country walks. Marshfield is ideally placed for visiting the many attractions of the beautiful city of Bath, including the Roman Baths, abbey and vibrant shopping centre, whilst within easy driving distance you can explore the picturesque villages of Castle Combe, Lacock, as well as Dyrham Park and Westonburt Arboretum.
