The Park Lane Retreat is a low-cost, clean & cosy place to stay in Middlesbrough centre. Ideally suited for contractors or short-term visitors to Teesside Uni (4-minute walk) or James Cook Hospital (5-minute drive). There’s a 5-minute walk to Southlands road and Linthorpe road where you’ll find some of the best bars and restaurants in Teesside. Cineworld Cinema is only a 14-minute walk, and Cleveland Centre is only 17-minutes. There is a 24-hour shop just 2-minutes away at the ParkLane Garage. The space This three bedroom mid terrace house has 350MB Ultrafast broadband WiFi throughout. Featuring three good sized bedrooms all with work-desks and chairs, comfy lounge area with two sofas, small dining area and a 65" QLED TV. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, gas cooker with hob. To the rear there is a bathroom with bath and shower. Small outside yard and free (visitors) parking outside of the property. The stairs can be pretty steep and may not be suitable for young children. Guest access: Guests have full access to the property.

Park Lane is one of the better roads in what can be described as, a poor, run-down area of central Middlesbrough. The majority of the houses are from cica 1900 and are terraced houses. On street parking is available with one of our Visitor's car passes. There is a nearby Mosque, and finding a parking space at around 1pm on a Friday afternoon can be quite difficult. Many of the nearby terraced houses have students as tenants. The Park Lane Haven is within walking distance of Teesside University and Middlesbrough town centre. It's a 4-minute walk to Teesside University. A 5-minute walk to The Southfield and The Dickens Inn bars on Southfield road. A minute later and you're on Linthorpe road with is full of exquisite restaurants and take-aways.
