When you've had enough of the beach, why not have a drink at the lively beach bar or grab a bite to eat in one of the restaurants at Fistral - the Fish House is our personal recommendation. On your way home, stop off at the Oceanside Hotel, the heated terrace is a lovely spot from which to watch the world go by. For golf lovers, Newquay Golf course is on your doorstep, and the South West Coastal path is a mere four minutes away, offering stunning views of the coastline as it winds along some of the town's most beautiful beaches and cliffs. Take a stroll to Newquay harbour and hop on a sea cruiser or go fishing and for the young ones there's Newquay Zoo, The Blue Reef Aquarium and nearby Lappa Valley Trains. Quite simply, Newquay is a fabulous destination for anyone who loves the great outdoors, water sports, dining out and the great British summer!
