The Port" is a comfortable one bedroom flat in Port Bannatyne , Isle of Bute. Relax and unwind in this typical 1st floor tenement with fantastic views of the bay and the Kyles of Bute .The living room has constantly changing sea and hill views from the bay window. There is a smart tv. ,dvds , cards and books and Wi-Fi .The flat is on the sea front and has free on street parking. There is one small double bedroom with hanging space , 3 small drawers and a hairdryer , a small shower room with shampoo and conditioner. The large kitchen has a fridge with small icebox, electric cooker with double oven and a good selection of crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee ,sugar and UHT milk are provided. The flat is centrally heated . There is no washing machine but there is a pulley for drying clothes and there is a laundry in Rothesay.
The village has a regular bus service. There is a marina , a Post Office/shop/café , tapas restaurant and art gallery/shop. The Anchor is a lovely friendly community-run pub which has regular live music, a wine bar with pop up food and a monthly quiz. There are 3 golf courses on the island including one in Port Bannatyne. A must visit is to Mount Stuart an Georgian/Victorian house on the other side of the island. There is a 13th Century castle in Rothesay. There are many pubs and restaurants on the island details are provided in the flat.
