Unwind at The Posting House, a tranquil house bursting with history. This 100 year old cottage, formerly the village post office, has been designed to offer a luxurious but comfortable stay combining the welcoming atmosphere of a home with the luxurious touches of a hotel. Situated in Kilchrenan, a remote but well-connected village offering a peaceful setting to relax and unwind with family and friends, surrounded by views of the beautiful Loch Awe and the dramatic peeks of Ben Cruachan. Despite the remote location of the cottage their is a lovely oub located across the road that serves delicious food and a lovely hotel situated on Loch Awe that is withing walking distance. Surrounded by beautiful walks and wildlife this is the perfect spot to relax and unwind and a great base to explore surround ing areas such as Oban and the Islands, Glencoe, Fort Willliam and Loch Lomond. Kilchrenan is a quiet village with a lovely community of locals, the village is small but does have a lovely gastro pub, The Kilchrenan Inn and two lovely hotels located on the banks of Loch Awe. Although Kilchrenan is a remote location it is located very close to Oban and some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland which makes it a great base for exploring.
