'The Quarters' is a cosy house with everything needed for a comfortable stay in Kirkwall. St Magnus Cathedral, in the centre of town, can be seen from the kitchen window and Scapa Beach is a 15/20min stroll in the other direction. The house is situated up a private lane, with only 1 neighbour, meaning your stay will be peaceful.
I am proud to hail from Orkney and am delighted when people choose to spend time there. I have travelled quite a bit. In my younger days spent a few months on a working visa in New York state. Many years later I travelled New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore and have enjoyed various holidays in between. But, home is where the heart is so I returned to Orkney for a 9 month work contract, which is now in about its 18th year!
