Great location to a beautiful village. We had both apartments which was perfect for mine and my sisters family. One had a bigger living space than the other but both were fine for a weekend.

The Rectory Lacock is a Grade II listed Victorian building built in 1866. Sitting in 6 acres of private Wiltshire countryside, the Rectory is just a 2 minute leisurely walk from the heart of the medieval National Trust village of Lacock. There are two holiday cottages in the grounds of the Rectory where our guests have the privacy of their own dedicated patio area and a separate private garden, exclusively available to our cottage guests. Each cottage has two bedrooms and all of the facilities that our guests would expect to find in good quality self-catering accommodation. Converted from the original former stables the cottages have vaulted ceilings and modern interiors. Lenton Cottage is a little larger, and has a vaulted roof in the open plan lounge/kitchen with french doors overlooking the fields and stables. This cottage has one king bedroom and a second bedroom with a truckle bed (a double bed with a single bunk above for a child). Please note that Lenton Cottage does not accommodate more than two adults, if they require separate beds. Wheeler Cottage has an open plan kitchen/living area, with a vaulted ceiling and overlooks the rectory gardens. This cottage has a king bedroom and second bedroom with bunk beds for children. Both cottages are ideally suited for a couple or a family with young children or business person working in the area. Although the cottages are separate there is an adjoining hallway so the cottages can be interlinked as one, if required. Each cottage is well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Professionally laundered bed linen and towels are provided. The cottages have complimentary WiFi access as well as TV and DVD facilities. An iron and ironing board are available. There is parking on site for one car per cottage. There is no parking available for a second car on site.
Situated in the unspoilt medieval village of Lacock there is plenty to see and explore including Lacock Abbey and the beautiful local countryside. There are four pubs in the village all with a different feel and character. Close to Corsham Court and village, Castle Coombe, Bowood House, Bath, Longleat and Avebury. Slightly further afield is Highclere Castle, Stonehenge and Marlborough.
