MacArthur Glenn outlet was good. Homesense too
Swindon has too many terrible drivers, who drive too fast & too close. There need to be traffic calming measures & more traffic lights.
Terrible, inconsiderate drivers can't be trusted to obey rules & use roundabouts properly.

The ambiance and excellent food exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and fully equipped. The only negative was the bed was slightly smaller than a double which was a shame as a king size would have easily fitted.

There are some lovely parks in Swindon that if you are staying for leisure are worth a visit; Coate Water near junction 15 of M4; Lydiard Park near junction 16.
The Town centre isn’t much to write home about, but a visit to the Great Western Train Village and Museum is very worthwhile. There is also a Macarther Glenn designer, Outlet Centre that is easy to get to with ample parking. At the outlet centre, we enjoy eating at Wagamama's. If you venture over to Greenridge, there is a Fiesta de Cuba restaurant. The meals are great and the price is very reasonable. We find just having a main is ample. It’s our favourite restaurant. Swindon has great transport links to reach surrounding areas; Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Chippenham are all within shouting distance.

East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads.
East access to nearby attractions, the M4 and major roads. The town itself, both the Old- & and New-town, is a little faded and run down in parts but overall fairly vibrant. Very good range of restaurants to suit most tastes. The pubs I visited were all warm and friendly with decent beer. Never any problems walking around the well signposted town daytime and evening. Overall a surprisingly interesting place surrounded by outstanding areas such as the Cotswolds, the Marlborough Downs and several classical English villages

I stayed in Swindon as a convenient location for visiting friends and family in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. Easy to get around. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Also Steam, the museum of the GWR is an enjoyable place to visit.
The room was spotless, modern and well equipped. There was a hair dryer, kettle and USB sockets which were useful. There was music downstairs until 3am (Saturday) but we were out until then anyway. However that is worth keeping in mind if you want an early night. Breakfast was very tasty, you pre select it the day before and the choice was good. The location was perfect for Swindon old town with plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby
The front of house/reception staff were fantastic - very welcoming and provided excellent orientation to the hotel; dealt with an unfortunate/difficult room service issue very professionally - I’m sorry not to have taken note of the names to praise individually (date: 18/06/22)
Clean, fresh, well maintained hotel/conference centre. Lovely surroundings. Clean and modern pool/spa. Good breakfast.
We had a very pleasant stay at SW bed and breakfast. We had a nice clean room in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of available parking and close to the town centre. Sara was an attentive host, very kind, and the breakfast she prepared was one of the best we've ever had. I must admit it was the best available option we found in Swindon, considering the price and the services provided.
I came to the hotel and I didn’t see the receptionist I have to call his personal phone number to tell him to come back to his duty post and he came after 20mins. The room i lodge the bathroom is bad water don’t flow out from the bathroom it will remain there for hours. When I was checking out I didn’t see the receptionist as well I have to drop the keys on the table and I left.
The location is brilliant, just on the edge of Swindon you are in a parkland setting which is beautiful with the original house, lake and parkland setting. It is lovely that it is owned by the local council and available to the public. The bed was comfortable, the room was cool despite the heatwave and the staff were lovely. The cooked breakfast was also delicious
So much better than the ‘chain hotels’ in Swindon. By far the best experience we have had locally. The staff were accommodating, the room was of a very good size and was great they accommodated our dog. The bathroom was the best I’ve had in a hotel, heated floor - say no more! The shower was huge, powerful and hot.
Really lovely hotel, nestled away in the countryside, but minutes away from Swindon. The buildings are lovely and maintained to a high standard, although still maintain plenty of character. The staff were all consistently really friendly and extremely helpful and made such a difference to the stay.
The staff were so friendly and helpful ,I was kinda out of it when I arrived and everyone looked after me .Room was lovely and clean and had a great view .I really enjoyed my stay ,The hotel is very close to the train station and town centre .
Lovely, clean apartment in excellent location. Equipped with everything you may need. Customer service is great, they respond to your messages in minutes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Swindon.
This hotel is well situated in the heart of the Old Town of Swindon. You can get a meal on site and they have vegan options which is a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate or my needs.
It is a modern well maintained hotel within convenient walking distance to the railway station, outlet mall, Steam museum and town centre. The room had good facilities and was very clean and comfortable.
The hotel was excellent, super clean, new and the best part was that they accepted our dog and were really friendly with him. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. We would definitely come back.
The hotel and restaurant staff were exceptional. Very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Additionally, the rooms were great and the breakfasts and dinners were delicious.
