The Home & Us Being just the two of us plus Ernie (our cat) we didn’t want a big house, just a nice house. When we first spotted The Shades, tucked away at the end of a cul-de- sac, just minutes on foot from Windermere, yet surrounded by greenery we knew we had found the one. Having only recently bought the property and until we move in permanently, primarily we aim to rent our home to lovely people such as yourselves. We still, however wanted to fill it with things we love and enjoy. Slowly & carefully we’re trying to add pieces of furniture, accessories & decoration in order to make your stay here feel that little bit special and hopefully a home from home. We love spending time here and hope you will too. Scott & Liz x
