The Shepherds Hut at Forestview Farm is a one of a kind handmade shepherds hut. It offers a luxurious fully equipped stay while appreciating simplicity. It is nestled in beautiful countryside surrounded by wonderful scenery in a private section of our small farm. Perfect for stays all year round, come and enjoy the fire while putting your feet up. Please note : we have working dogs and livestock on our farm.
Local Attractions Carrickfergus – The Shepherds Hut is only a 10 minute drive from the historic town of Carrickfergus which includes a Norman Castle which is open to the public for visits. Belfast – Only 20 minutes from The Shepherds Hut is the city of Belfast with all that a bustling city centre has to offer. Causeway Coastal Route – The Shepherds Hut is located at the start of the world renowned Causeway Coastal Route. The Shepherds Hut also allows easy access to numerous other local areas. Local tourist information is provided in the Shepherd’s Hut. Forestview Farm is right beside Woodburn Forest and Dams where there are numerous forest walks.
