Welcome to Bowland Breaks, owned by the lovely Nick and Hayley Sugden! Hayley, born and raised in Lancashire, brings a wealth of local knowledge and handles all marketing, guest relations, and admin duties. Nick, hailing from the neighboring county of Yorkshire, may be spotted maintaining the hot tub and gardens with his trusty Labradors, Ozzy and Fudge, by his side. In 2016, we began the conversion of The Shippon, a former cattle outbuilding, and opened our doors to guests in July 2017. And in 2021, we added the charming Cobble View Cottage in Waddington to our collection. We even enjoy taking a break at Cobble View ourselves when we have a spare moment. Our cottages are perfect for couples, families, and girlie getaways. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, a cycling adventure, or a nature walk, we’ll make sure your time in the Ribble Valley is unforgettable. We can’t wait to have you as our guests!

We are 5 minutes drive from the Market Town of Longridge in a semi rural location with lovely views. We have The Derby Arms located just down the road and also The Alston Pub and Dining. There is also a lovely Farm Shop, Tea Room and Plant Nursery Little Town just down the road .
