I opened the Shoes in May 2008- after many years working in the licensed trade running restaurants and Bars including bed and breakfast properties. I decided it was time to invest in my own property and found the location and property when the Shoes came up for sale, formerly known as the Three Horseshoes in Gilesgate Durham. The property has undergone extensive renovation including a fully refurbished bar-beer garden-kitchen and also incorporates 3 letting bedrooms all en-suite.
