Just a few minutes stroll from the golden sands and rolling surf of Mawgan Porth beach, situated just on the outskirts of Watergate Bay, is where you will find this stunning and stylish holiday home.
Neighbourhood information
Located in a lush green valley is the stunning hamlet of Mawgan Porth; it is equidistant between renowned surfing haven Newquay and historic fishing village of Padstow. This charming village has a small supermarket, a variety of independent restaurants and a luscious beach with golden sands, sheltered by high cliffs to each side.
For a day exploring the surrounding area pick up a bike from Padstow Cycle Hire and follow The Camel Trail. While in Padstow don’t forget to take a trip to Rick Stein’s; or try something different and head to his cookery school and learn to cook some of his signature dishes.
Family days out are made at Trenance Gardens and Leisure Park. With an array of playgrounds and parks, a miniature railway, crazy golf course, trampoline park, skate park, stunning gardens, an accompanying tea room, as well as beautiful boating lake; it really does have something for everyone. It is also home to Newquay Zoo, a zoological garden spanning 13 acres with dozens of different animals.
A short drive away is the iconic Port Isaac; Made famous by its alter-ego ‘Port Wenn’ in the television series ‘Doc Martin’. Visitors can take part in a tour which enjoys all the landmarks from the show. You can even ascend the lovely flower-lined hill path up to the Doctor’s Surgery and take in the breath-taking views overlooking the crystal-clear waters below.
While holidaying in Port Isaac you will not want to miss a performance by the bestselling folk group Fisherman’s Friends. Find them down on the harbour every Friday evening through the summer months.
