The well serviced Rothbury, 2 miles away, will provide you with a choice of restaurants and drinking spots as well as a range of independent local shops. Historic National Trust property Cragside House is a mere 2.5 miles, you can reach Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens and Lillidorei in 25 minutes by car. The Northumberland coastline is half an hours drive. Thropton is 1.5 miles walk where you will find a pub serving delicious food.
