Company information

We are a married couple who have lived in Skye for 42 years. When we first came here we bought a run down crofthouse that we renovated. Richard is now semi retired, Clare still works. We live on the ground floor having our own separate entrance. Richard manages the apartment. His hobby is photography and if desired can advise on locations and walking destinations on the Island.

Property information

A one bedroom first floor apartment for one or two people with a spacious en-suite with powerful shower. We have fast fibre broadband that allows those that need to work from home. The Smart TV has terrestrial TV and also has Netflix and Amazon Prime. It has electric adjustable heating, Ventilation and light from top hung Velux windows. Access is independent via the front door using the key from the key safe. There is provision in the lobby for boots & jackets . A single fight of stairs leads up into the apartment. Views from the apartment are across to Ben Tianavaig, Glamaig and to the right The Cuillin Mountain Range,. Neighbourhood information

The area ia semi rural being on the outskirts of the town of Portree. The town centre is just a fifteen minute walk away. If visitors wish to dine out there is a selection of restaurants to choose from. During the day Staffin road can be quite busy but at night it is much quieter. There is a large garden around the property. Richard is also responsible for the maintenance of this.
