The Warren Guest House is comfortable and a real home from home for guests. In the 19th century it was trading as the Star Inn, before closing in 1933. It is not known how it acquired the name of The Warren, but the name has a quirky appeal.

Anita and Jimmy are ready to make your visit to our city and surrounding countryside as good as it could possibly be.
Anita is from the Philippines. She met Jimmy in Hong Kong and they married in Australia. Jimmy has worked worldwide on electric transmission engineering. They settled in Carlisle, where Anita worked at the local Asda. Her dream was to run a Guest House. In the Year 2000 they bought and moved into The Warren. Something about The Warren felt especial. A major bus operator in the Philippines uses a rabbit as company logo, and maybe that was a quirky appeal with The Warren.
Together Anita and Jimmy know a lot about the local area, where to go, what to do, and what to see.
