Oil underfloor central heating included (October to April GBP 40). Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Private lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Barbecue. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 15 years old. There are steps and a pond in the garden.. Located in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this former cow byre nestles in panoramic views. Dating back to the 1700’s this holiday cottage, adjoining the owners’ home, is ideally located for exploring both the National Park and the Heritage Coast of Yorkshire. Guests can enjoy and relax in the private lawned garden. Cycle tracks and bridle paths abound from the doorstep and quaint little villages tucked away deep in the valleys await discovery. The ancient seaport of Whitby is just a short drive and from here you can board the steam train and enjoy some of the finest scenery, as it chugs its way through the Esk Valley into the Heartbeat villages of Grosmont and Goathland. Whitby is home to a bustling colourful harbour, a fine marina, the ancient abbey ruins and a 3-mile stretch of sandy beach. Visit the fishing villages of Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay, clinging to the cliff sides. The market towns of Pickering, Kirkby Moorside and Helmsley are easily reached.
