Thornton House is perfect for relaxation and listening to to birds sing . It is a 3 bed house which sleeps 6 people (1x King Bed , 1x Double Bed , 1x Single Bed with trundle guest bed pull out ) in the beautiful village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral Peninsula . It is a short drive from Heswall and Neston . Thornton House is part of a stunning Grade-II country house and sits in beautifully landscaped mature gardens, elegant accommodation, and free parking. The Wirral Peninsula is close to many outstanding places and the beautiful beaches of Thurstaston and West Kirby are not to be missed. Parkgate is 2 miles away, it has fab eateries and the famous Nicholls Ice Cream . Liverpool and Chester are 20 minutes' drive away Port Sunlight is 10 minutes' drive away . The area has top restaurants and friendly local pubs. Thornton Hall hotel is within walking distance as well as The Red Fox Pub which allows dogs in the bar area. Also within easy reach of many golf clubs including The Royal Liverpool and other leisure facilities, family attractions such as Chester Zoo , Blue Plant Aquarium ,Liverpool One and Liverpool Museums well as Everton & Liverpool Football clubs .
Within the village area is excellent walking paths to great pubs . You can easily reach The Wheatsheaf (Thatch) Pub in Raby, which is a 17th century inn. This serves lovely food in the Cowshed Restaurant attached to it . The Red Fox is a short walk and allows dogs in the bar area, which is family friendly and serves food . The closest pub for a drink is the Seven Stars in the heart of the village. Alternatively you can walk to the next village of Brimstage and peruse the shops or have lunch at the Country Mouse . Thornton Hough village itself has a beautiful playground (few mins away) and the village green is perfect for picnics.
