    Totally recommend this property providing you don't have problems with balance(stairwell quite steep & steps quie narrow at the bottom) or your waterworks (the toilet's are downstairs) The layout other than that is great, extremely clean & cozy....

Timeless recently restored 19th-Century Cottage nestled in Hurstpierpoint's charming High Street. An ideal retreat for couples, a small family or friends seeking a getaway to the countryside with easy access to local amenities. Footpaths to the South Downs national park are directly accessible, the nearest station Hassocks allows easy and direct access to Brighton Seaside and London. Private patio to catch the morning sun, with space to store bikes and parking nearby. The two bedroom property is fully furnished with everything you may need during your stay. Two double bedrooms, one of which has a single bed that folds out into a comfortable double bed with ease. Please let me know how many guests are staying so I can prepare the house appropriately. It is possible to change the sofa to a sofa bed for 2 extra guests, but please be aware the house is generally set up to comfortably host four people with exceptions to short stays accommodating up to two extra guests. Please be aware there is an extra charge when using the sofa bed. There is a separate, second toilet & sink at the back of the bathroom accessible via the back patio. Leading through the outhouse on the back, there is a larger, stepped patio that is furnished to be able to soak in the sun.
Thank you for choosing to stay at my little cottage in Hurstpierpoint. I have lived in the village on and off for the past 10 years and love living here. The cottage you are renting is where I live during the winter months. During spring and summer I stay just down the road on a plot of land where I raise and sell vegetables as part of Pitfield Barn cut flower farm and Cafe. You are likely to find a fresh vegetable treat grown on the farm along with some local, organic eggs in the fridge at the house. I love being able to share my space and the goods I grow with others and I am passionate about providing you with a great experience during your stay. To make the most of exploring the local area, do visit and say hi at Pitfield Barn stable kitchen and enjoy the view of the farm with a cuppa with some sweet treat. :)
Hurstpierpoint is a lovely village a short train ride from Brighton & London and with direct access to the South downs national park and plenty of countryside activities. The village itself is also blessed with a range of top notch restaurants, pubs, cafes, independent shops, supermarket & pharmacy….all within walking distance of the property. I absolutely love this little village, come and see for yourself!
