Lovely quiet site. Home was clean and well equipped, just exactly what we needed. Didn't realise it was an ensuite so that was a delightful bonus too. Been ages since we last stayed in this type of accommodation, things have improved immensely....

Pitgrudy Holiday Park is situated 1 mile from the historic town of Dornoch and is 1 mile directly off the A9 which is ideal for the NC500 route. It is a peaceful well kept park. There are laundry facilities on site. This is a static caravan with a private parking bay. It has a secure brand new wrap around decking area which has ample room for seating. It is set in lovely countryside and has views of the Dornoch Firth in the distance. The caravan is fully equipped including a full size integrated fridge/freezer. It has central heating and double glazing so cosy on cold nights. An ideal place to sit out on the decking, relax and watch the sun go down after a busy day exploring all that Dornoch and surrounding area has to offer. A travel cot and a booster high chair are available for young children. Please let me know when booking if this is required. There are a number of eateries in the area including Meikle Ferry cafe and Dalmore Farm that has a shop, clothing, florist, crafts, mini farm, play area and cafe. In Dornoch, Milk and Honey cafe, Sandstone cafe and Luigis all provide good food.
We hope you enjoy Dornoch and all the sites
The historic town of Dornoch is a designated National Scenic Area in the Highlands of Scotland. Its tranquil location, scenery and climate have attracted visitors for decades. Some come to test their golfing skills on Royal Dornoch's championship course or to walk and view wildlife in the National Reserve at nearby Loch Fleet. Dornoch offers a wide range of eateries, specialist shops, quaint pubs, museums and an award winning beach. It is a small town which wraps around a beautiful 13th Century Cathedral. There are forest/hill walks, cycling, fishing, Pitch n' Putt, croquet, boules, tennis courts, horse riding and leisure facilities in the surrounding area. Dornoch is the perfect centre point for the 'Whisky Trail' in the area. You can visit and tour 6 famous distilleries within an easy drive of Dornoch. Clynelish, Balblair, Glenmorangie, Dalmore, Glen Ord and Old Pulteney. Enjoy whisky tasting in the award winning Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar which is renowned for its selection of incredible vintage malts and rare bottling. The stunning Dunrobin Castle is just 10 miles further north which has the most lavish interior and gardens. In season there are daily falconry displays.
