Michelle & Jason Farmer, Lucie & Paul Jones own and run Cottalia Breaks, we started the business in 2021 when we bought Treworgie Barton. We fell in love with the place at first sight with its amazing views & peace and quiet.
We are working hard to continuously improve the cottages sometimes with huge changes, sometimes just subtle little things, we care greatly about our site and our guests stay.
Property information
Split over three floors, Duchy Cottage has been designed with sociable family holidays in mind. On the first floor, the open plan living-room has a newly fitted kitchen for cooking a holiday feast. Guests can chat to the chef from the oak table, or relax on one of the comfy sofas and enjoy the view over the surrounding countryside towards the coast from the double height window.
Bedroom one is conveniently located on the ground floor, with a beautiful hand-crafted bed King size bed with an additional single bed and comfy linens you are assured of a good night's sleep here. There's a modern en-suite shower-room for a refreshing drench shower after a day out and about. There is a further family room located on the second floor in the eaves of the cottage comprising of a double and single bed an ideal space for teenagers as well as a family. The twin bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor, just off the living-room. This room has a zip and link bed and can be made up as a king or twin. Please let us know when booking how you would like the room set up. If no preference is stated the room will be made up as a Twin. The family bathroom with a bath and shower over is also on this floor, so you can choose from a long soak or a refreshing shower.
Outside, guests will delight in the beautiful, private grounds where days can be spent exploring the woodlands and countryside. Yo

Treworgie Barton is steeped in history, going back to the doomsday book. The modern Treworgie is on the North Cornish coast between Bude & Tintagel, set in 36 acres of farmland & woodland. We offer unmatched tranquillity, with peace and quiet and dark skies. We may sound remote but we are just 1 mile from the nearest pub and shop, 2 miles from the nearest beach, 9 miles from Bude.
