Booked for men working in the area, they never advise what they like with a property only what they dont like and there were no complaints from the men staying.

Turford House is Grade II listed Georgian House named after Edward & James Turford master glovers who rebuilt and lived in the House in the 1600's after the British civil war. The house can accomodate 6 guests and is located in the heart of Lower Corve Street only 700m from the main shops, restaurants, bars, medieval castle and Saint Lawrence’s church. Lower Corve Street is famous for its 1600/1700's glove making trade. The house is set on 3 levels with ground, first and second floors. Oak floors and beams have been carefully exposed and professionally restored by master craftsmen. All internal ledged and brace doors are hand made from solid oak. The House boasts many original Georgian period features and furniture. The dining room with kitchen and breakfast room are located on the ground floor, on the first floor a warm cosy living room with beautiful comfy furniture, a bedroom with original Georgian fireplace and a shower room as en suite or shared. The top floor has a bedroom and a master room with en-suite shower and a luxury in room bath. There is a single off road car park space in the yard next to the house plus on street parking for 2 cars by transferable permit.
A huge warm welcome to Turford from your hosts Rose & Paul. I, (Paul) was born in London where I grew up and worked until my late 20’s before travelling to Hong Kong, Macau and Vietnam to further my profession and career as a Chartered Surveyor & Builder on some of the worlds iconic projects. After 20+ years overseas we are back settled in the West Midlands with our 5 children. My wife Rose is English educated originating from Saigon, Vietnam where we first met working together for a real estate project management consultancy. It has been a life long ambition and passion to have the time and resources to renovate an old period house to its former glory. We are blessed to have achieved this goal by bringing Turford House, built in the 1600’s, back to life. We are both fun and easy going couple and really love meeting new people and exploring new places. Our favourite things in the world apart from raising our 5 lovely kids are our dog, rugby, music and aircraft being a former Cessna and Sports Pilot. Rose and I love the outdoors, exploring the walking trails and endless beauty of the Shropshire countryside. Welcome to Turford House !
Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. The historic town centre and the 11th century Ludlow Castle are situated on a cliff above the River Teme and are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. Ludlow is an excellent base for walking and cycling; as well as exploring the rest of Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. Ludlow has a reputation for the quality of its food and drink with many excellent restaurants and cafes encouraged by the areas abundance of quality food & drink producers. This is showcased every September when the town is filled with food lovers from all over the UK, and beyond for the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival. Ludlow has many things to offer - from walking the streets of this historic town and visiting Ludlow Castle and St Laurence's Church, to a meal at one of Ludlow's restaurants. Ludlow is also noted for the many events and festivals that take place throughout the year, from the annual Medieval Christmas Fayre and the famed Ludlow Food and Drink Festival.
