At Two Peas in a Pod we offer a warm and cosy, two person glamping pod that has been hand crafted here in North Wales. The pod is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty amongst unspoilt landscape and wildlife. From the pod’s private decking you can enjoy the views Holyhead Mountain and the Irish Sea. Our pod is settled within it’s own private acre which you have all to yourself. Wake up to the views of Holyhead Mountain and surrounding farmland from your sumptuous double bed. Underfloor heating ensures you’re not cold underfoot and relax in your private en-suite shower room. Whip up a breakfast in your kitchenette and choose to either dine inside at your breakfast bar or alfresco at your outdoor seating area. After a day of activities or pure relaxation, watch the sun set over the Irish Sea. Spend your evenings stargazing under the amazing dark skies, untarnished by light pollution. Enjoy the peace and quite of your own little patch of Anglesey by warming yourself by the firepit and toasting marshmallows. Included in your stay are all linens and towels, complimentary tea and cofee with milk, sugar and sweetners. All cutlery, plates, utensils and cooking equipment are also provided so you don't have to worry about bringing everything with you. We love dogs and you four legged friend is more than welcome. Each dog costs 5 pounds per night and the pod can accomodate either two small breeds or one large breed. Please remember there is limited floor space inside the pod and the furniture and beds are strictly for humans only. Feel free to walk your dog in the acre of land the pod is set within however please clean up after your dog and keep them on a lead as the field is not secure. We will even provide your four legged friend with a comfy bed, food and water bowls, waste bags and some old towels for those muddy walks.
Richard was born and raised in Valley, Anglesey and met Jemma whilst he worked in London. Jemma had never heard of Anglesey before and thought Richard was teasing her when he mentioned he came from an island off the coast of Wales! After visiting Richard’s family in Anglesey Jemma fell in love with Ynys Mon, the sea and the vast open landscape. Fast forward 17 years, one wedding, three children, a cat and two dogs later and the pair have opened their land for others to appreciate the rugged scenery and nature that Anglesey and North Wales have to offer. Richard, Jemma and their children love creating memories on Anglesey and particularly enjoy going fishing, hiking and cycling.
The iconic South Stack Lighthouse is a 30 minute walk or 6 minute drive from Two Peas in a Pod. From here you can book a tour of the working lighthouse, hike to the top of Holyhead mountain or explore the RSPB reserve. Porth Dafarch Blue Flag beach is a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the pod. The beach has parking and toilet/changing facilities and is a favourite for visitors. There are many beaches around the Isle of Anglesey so guests will be spoilt for choice. The Anglesey coastal path is a 10 minute walk from the pod and is a long distance route that follows much of the island’s coastline. The path primarily caters for walkers however cyclists and horse riders can also enjoy certain sections. If you enjoy cycling then Anglesey is the perfect location for you to take in the waymarked circular cycling routes, as well as being part of two national cycle routes. Each route will have you marvel at the fantastic scenery whilst providing opportunities to spot some of the islands beautiful wildlife.
