Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Dating back to the 1800s, this delightful Grade II listed Georgian House is set on a Hillock in an acre of land overlooking the glorious Cotswold countryside and River Avon.
The Uplands offers the perfect blend of luxurious rural privacy and the convenience of the town centre with its numerous restaurants and riverside pubs a short walking distance away.
We have plenty of space for you to relax.
I'm a fun loving girl who loves Jane Austen and Soca music. I was brought up in this beautiful house in the heart of the Cotswold listening to my parents caribbean music; so when our kids flew the nest we thought let's share the place with other people. There is nothing we love more than watching others enjoy the place and having fun here at Uplands.
We will welcome you on arrival and show you around the place so that you can familiarise yourself with all our facilities. You will then be left to your own devices. We will be on site in a cottage attached to the property and will be available should there be any problems (our numbers will be found in the information pack kept in the kitchen).
The Mythe area of Tewkesbury is an elevated bluff between the Rivers Avon and Severn. All properties in the area are detached and the only neighbours you will see are the occupants of the cottage (previously the staff quarters) attached to the Main House. The cottage has its own entrance at the back of the property and a separate garden. Both properties share a large car park.
Amble parking available in the property car park. Walk into town takes 15 to 20 mins and can be via the road or through the fields and along the river. Drive into town in less than 2 minutes.
