The Brecon Beacons National Park is bordered by this charming market town. With the Black Mountains, Crychan Forest, Cwm Rhaeadr, and the River Towey just waiting to be explored, this area is well-known for walking, fishing, and cycling. You must climb the castle since from there you can see across the town and the nearby River Bran. There are several cafés, tea houses, delis, and patisseries where you may unwind after a day of seeing the lovely countryside. The annual Sheep Festival, held in September each year to honour droving, sheep farming, and the wool industry, is not to be missed. Llandovery is in a great position, with amenities around for every taste. A 20-minute drive away, the village of Llandeilo is a charming market town with a nice range of unique gift stores, restaurants, and pubs.
