A modern, nicely decorated apartment with everything you need for a long or short stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. It is in a lovely country quiet back street. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely studio apartment deep in the countryside. Friendly welcoming owners lived next door and I’m sure would have been very helpful if needed, but they provided a clear comprehensive folder of information of local area and also how to work...

Hosts were absolutely lovely. The booking was clean in a lovely location. The stay went without fault and id recommend checking the stars out - we were awestruck on our walk back from the manor from the wedding we attended down the hill.

Wisteria Barn is tucked away in a quiet, rural location, however with lots of villages and towns within easy reach. I spent 5 nights here and explored the area with ease. The accommodation is great, really comfortable and very well equipped. Chis...

Wisteria Barn is situated in a secluded spot in the heart of the North Cornwall countryside. The barn is of a studio style with a seating area, dining room, small kitchen, king size bed and a toilet/shower room. An outside terrace is perfect for relaxing with outdoor furniture provided. There is a private garden to enjoy, immediately outside the barn and a dedicated parking space with signage. A key box is situated to the left of the patio door entrance with access via a gravel path. From the car park, access is via a set of double gates, with the property on the right hand side as you enter the yard. The barn is newly converted and offers a quiet retreat from the stresses of modern life. Wifi and a smart TV are provided, alongside some books. We do not have an aerial so TV will be limited to streaming services.
Chris and Lisa Pooley. We have lived here for over 30 years, having converted a barn on the property some years ago. We have excellent knowledge of the local area and are very happy to suggest locations for days out, walks and entertainment. Chris is a retired Panel Beater with a keen interest in classic cars and is usually around most of the time. Lisa works part time as a Finance Director and is home part of the time.
Wisteria Barn is situated in a secluded spot in the heart of the North Cornwall countryside. The idyllic fishing village of Port Isaac is 4 miles away and the historic villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are an approximate 20 minute drive. The local town of Wadebride provides all amenities including large supermarkets, bars, cafe's and the stunning Camel trail, an 18 mile cycle route which stretches from Bodmin to Padstow. Wadebridge is approximately half way along the trail, so you can choose to cycle either way, taking in some stunning scenery along the estuary. The beautiful beach at Polzeath is a mecca for surfers and boarders and is lifeguarded throughout the summer months. Daymer bay and St Enodoc church are also nearby, with the late Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman buried in the church grounds. The Southwest coastpath is easily accessed from many points locally, with some simply amazing walks to really appreciate the rugged terrain and maybe spot some wildlife! There are a plethora of farm shops/cafe's within a short drive, so you can enjoy all the culinary delights our county has to offer. There are also some great pubs within a very short drive, all offering home cooked food and a warm welcome. Further afield the buzzing town of Newquay is 22 miles away with lots to do and some pretty awesome surfing to watch. The Eden project is 21 miles away, these bio-domes house beautiful flora from around the world with a highlight on the ecological sustainability. Bude is 22 miles north, again with some beautiful beaches, an outdoor seapool and some lovely walks. Bowood and St Kew both have golf courses which are open to non-members. Rock at 9 miles away has a passenger ferry which easily transports you to Padstow, where Michellin starred restaurants await. We are also only 1/2 mile from the stunning Pengenna Manor which is an exclusive wedding/events venue.
