Property information
Tucked on a peaceful cul de sac, this two-bed maisonette has galley kitchen and open plan dining/sitting room with a large picture window overlooking the communal greenspace. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one has the flexibility of being a twin room, as the bed separates) and a family bathroom. With all the essentials and very clean, you will find comfortable beds, lashings of hot water, whizzy wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. Fido and Felix are welcome! There is ample on street parking.
The master bedroom has twin beds which zip link to become a king-sized bed. Please state if you need these beds as singles or as a double when you book.
Neighbourhood information
Wokingham is a pretty market town popular with families for the excellent schools, buzzy town and surrounding countryside. Located on the Emm Brook in the Loddon Valley in central Berkshire and situated 39 miles (62.8 km) west of central London. It sits between the larger, industrial towns of Reading and Bracknell. Minutes from the M4 and with links to the M3, it is well served by trains from Wokingham Station which go direct to Waterloo (allow an hour and 15 minutes) and zip you to Reading in 10 minutes. There is also a steady stream of local buses.
The town has undergone a big regeneration project and now has a bustling high street of independent and small chain shops, surrounded by accessible countryside. The town hall in Wokingham is the beautiful central building. Still used as council offices, it has a cafe and a shop, but the true gem is the small tourist information office with a wealth of information available for the area.
