Occupying the first and second floors of a grand Edwardian house, Woldgate Retreat our maisonette is decorated and equipped to a modern standard but with loads of retained traditional features. Generously proportioned with 3 double bedrooms (one of which can be converted to a twin prior to arrival) and a kitchen that is big enough and well equipped enough to cook a meal for 6 people, it has plenty of living space. The icing on the cake is the private sun trap garden with comfortable furniture. The pictures show the size of the space and key items of furniture. The living room has a 50" Smart TV and the kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven and new microwave. Fibre internet powers fast wi-fi throughout the entire property with 'mesh routers' giving the ability for multiple users to carry out video calling or streaming games at the same time. In the garden there is seating for 6 people, a table and a BBQ plus beach chairs and bucket/spades in the shed. The property is really close to all the key areas of Bridlington, 5 minutes level walk to the beach (North beach), 10 minutes walk to the bus station / town centre / train station and only 15 mins to The Spa (South Beach).
Hi, I'm Craig - I work in Facilities Management in West Yorkshire and spend much of my free time travelling the UK and further afield. Lianne and I often travel as a couple but enjoy bringing friends and family along to share the adventure.. We have recently ventured in to letting out our holiday home and look forward to sharing our space with guests and perhaps new friends.. We pride ourselves on providing a 'home from home' environment, after all that's exactly what it is - our holiday home. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as us but we're always listening to feedback and implementing the little tweaks that make it better.
About 5 minutes stroll to the beach and 10 minutes to the Town centre, the property is in a residential area of similar houses intermingled with guest houses and small hotels. The area is level and walking is easy, generally once you've parked your car you'll not need it again to take in any of Bridlington's attractions. With easy access to the A-roads, Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough and Bempton cliffs are an easy drive away. There are several golf courses within easy reach both by public transport and by car.
