Property information

A cute Old Victorian House with original, retro and modern features. A place to stay. A home away. This old Victorian House features restored original 1800's stained glass window and staircase features, the in-room wet areas (sinks), shared bathroom and toilet all have groovy 1960's-style tiling. All of our Guest rooms and Private En-Suite rooms have a modern colour scheme and soft fluffy carpets. However, if you're looking for a modern apart-hotel style of stay, then rest assured, we also have apart-hotel rooms available on our top floor with large Velux windows (skylight) providing beautiful views of the City Centre or of the Platt Fields park in front of us. All rooms have TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. Cot hire, Breakfasts and other Hotel Extras are available too. We have a Board games hamper and a couple of bookcases available to keep you entertained during your stay. You can also enjoy quiet drink or snack from our Reception-Bar area.

Neighbourhood information

If you're looking for convenience yet want to avoid the busy hustle and bustle of City Centre living, then we're the place for you! We have great transport links to the City Centre (which is just 2 miles away) and to the South, West and East of Manchester. The bus stop with major bus lines is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel, from Platt Lane to Wilmslow Road. Wilmslow Road is famously known as the Curry mile, housing Indian Restaurants, Takeaways, Shisha Cafes and Desert Houses etc. If you're travelling from abroad by plane, you can get to use from Manchester Airport by catching the number 43 bus line. This bus goes all the way to Piccadilly Gardens, but you'll need to look out for Platt Fields Park or instruct the Bus Driver to notify you when to get off when you reach the bus stop just before Platt Lane. Alternative, if you're travelling from the City Centre of Manchester, you can get any of the following bus numbers to get to us: 41, 42, 43, 44, 141, 142, 143. If you're travelling within England and are driving, then we are just a mile off the Princess Parkway which leads to Motorways.
