About this property
The family-run Ye Olde Fighting Cocks is set beside the Kent estuary in the picturesque village of Arnside, officially named an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beer garden boasts views of the Lake District’s mountains and the estuary, as well as offering free on-site parking. Most of the bedrooms offer views across the Kent estuary and the mountains within the Lake District. The Fighting Cocks’ on-site bar features a wood-burning fireplace and offers a variety of traditional beers, lagers and wines. There are 2 on-site restaurants serving traditional home-cooked food. There is a Sky/BT Sports area showing live action. Arnside Rail Station is just 350 meters from the property and junction 35 of the M6 is less than 8 miles away. The start of the Lake District National Park is just a 5 minute train journey.
