Enjoy a stylish experience at Yew Tree House, a Georgian property, set in a leafy part of Colchester. Stay in a lower ground floor, double bedroom with a king sized bed. A original fireplace is the focal point of the room. There are tea & coffee making facilities, along with two comfortable chairs, perfect for relaxing. The room is at the back of the house, overlooking the garden. Off the bedroom is a refurbished, ensuite bathroom, with new shower, wash basin and loo and complimentary toiletries. Continental breakfast in the dining room is included. There is ample room for parking on the ‘in-out’ drive. A bus stop direct to Stansted Airport (75 mins) is across the road . I have a friendly springer spaniel so you must like dogs.

Lexden Road leads out of Colchester to the south-west. At the city end there's a host of mainly independent shops in Crouch Street… including a renowned delicatessen, newsagent, launderette & hairdressers; the road then passes through a tree-lined, residential area with several schools, before reaching the suburb of Lexden itself, which includes a church, pub/restaurant & car repair garage.
