Nestling in a quiet village, on the Llyn Peninsula, is known as an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty. Yr Hen Felin and Ty'r Felin (The Old Mill and The Mill House) offer supremely comfortable accommodation. Warm neutral colours enhance the many period features of this converted old mill and touches of luxury ensure a memorable stay. Your hosts are proud to be able to offer supreme hospitality within a laid-back atmosphere and they work hard to ensure that all guest enjoy their stay and thus are privileged to have many returning guests year after year. As proprietors they are on hand to offer and extend a warm welcome to each and every guest, they have a vast knowledge of the area and Carys is a first language Welsh speaker. You will be guaranteed a warm Welsh welcome by them both, Croeso cynnes.
The owners and your hosts, Paul and Carys, feel privileged to share their home with you; they place great emphasis on guest care and comfort in a welcoming Welsh and English speaking environment. ...................Service with Pleasure.....
The local area provides a whole host of different activities for those who are on holiday and for those who are not! Adventurous Activities, Boat Rides, Cycling, Fun Activities, Golf, Walking, Watersports. The beaches are your classic golden, sandy types; there are many of them and they are all spectacular, with a number sporting the coveted Blue Flag award for cleanliness and facilities. All these beaches are linked together on the Llŷn Coastal Path, a 91-mile long footpath that runs all the way around the peninsula. Visit the small fishing village of Porthdinllaen on the northern coast to get a taste of the past. Known for its herring fishing history, Porthdinllaen has seen human habitation since the Iron Age, but started to really flourish in the 18th century, when it became the main port on the London to Dublin route. The village’s past is waiting for you to learn about it, but it’s worth a visit for its present-day beauty, tucked into the cliffs. Keen golfers love the nearby Nefyn & District Golf Club, 27 holes against the dramatic backdrop of the sea, which includes ‘The Point’; a world-famous golfing site which comprises of eight holes leading out into the sea!
