Acceto is a Villa located in Heraklion, Ano Assites village. The fabulous stone house with an indoor ecologic pool heated by solar power, is a part of two buildings complex. We are delighted to share our house with three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen next to a dinning room in a cozy sun room, the main living area and a cellar. The house is surrounded by outdoor yards and a fruit garden.
Giorgos the owner comes from Heraklion, a well known lawyer with interest in politics, music and literature. He and his wife Anna enjoy wine making at their house in Ano Assites as a hobby. While Giorgos is environmentally conscious, he decided to expand and renovate his paternal house using ecologic materials like wood and stone and to build a heated pool that is using solar energy solely.
Ano Assites is a picturesque small village at the base of Idi mountain. It is surrounded by nature with a river, vineyards and olive groves. It is an ideal location to explore both north and south Crete with easy access to the main road, while there are numerous places of interest in the nearby area.
