Accommodation at Agapi Beach Resort consists of 2 main buildings with guest rooms, and a village area with comfortable bungalows spread around the lush gardens. Greek Breakfast is daily served at the property's dining area. It consists of various cheese types, homemade pies and honey. Guests can dine at the hotel’s main restaurant offering international and Greek flavours and explore a variety of themed buffet dinners that alternate every 2 weeks. The beachfront tavern Akrogiali, with direct sea views, offers a buffet of traditional Greek and Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and traditional Cretan recipes for a la carte dinner. The Mediterranean street-food restaurant Taka-Taka will entice guests with its variety of dishes from 6 cuisines. For the lovers of the Italian cuisine, piazza d’Italia serves the most iconic recipes. Weekly events with food and live music are organised at the Garden Theater, while live piano music nights are held at the Main Bar of the resort. Agapi Beach Resort guests can attend beach parties by the beach bar, lobster evenings, wine tasting events, Greek cooking lessons and attend aerobics classes. Other activities include SUP or canoe, jet skiing, yoga and water polo. The resort is well equipped for children. It offers child supervision, highchairs and children’s meals, as well as a children's club. The Agapi Beach Resort lies just 6 km west of Heraklion and 12 km from the airport in the splendid coastal resort of Ammoudara. Nearby there is a wide variety of shops including a mini-market and souvenir shop. The Palace of Knossos, one of the major cultural heritage sites of Greece, is a 30-minute drive away.
